25 (£22,658 pro rata) to 26 (£23,398 pro rata) dependant on experience
Manuel Bravo Project provides free legal advice for people seeking asylum in Leeds.
The Project employs OISC Caseworkers and benefits from a large team of volunteers including barristers, solicitors, law students and other individuals giving their time to assist people who are unable to find adequate legal support.
The Project is regulated by The Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC).
We are currently seeking an experienced Caseworker (minimum OISC Level 2) to join our busy Casework team. Suitable candidates should have experience of providing legal advice, assistance and casework to asylum seeking clients including managing their own caseload.

INTERPRETERS (All languages spoken in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, but in particular: Farsi, Kurdish (all dialects), Somali, Swahili, Oromo, Yuruba, Mandinka, Wolof, Pashtu,Tamil, Sinhala and Amharic) to provide interpreting at meetings between caseworkers and clients. - Donate via Cheque. Please make cheques payable to Manuel Bravo Project and send them into our office.
- Donate via regular Standing Order. If you would like to donate via regular standing order, please email the office to request a copy of the form. If you are a UK tax payer, please fill in the gift aid declaration so we can reclaim 25p for every £1 you give and then return the form to the office via email or post.
We are entirely dependent upon donations from charitable organisations, businesses, and individuals either financially or in kind so if you are able to help in any way with fundraising or have a bright idea for an event, we would love to hear from you! Previous events include art exhibitions, sponsored walks and parachute jumps out of planes so really, the sky’s the limit!
