A statement from Manuel Bravo Project
The recent intensification of Islamaphobic and racist terrorism has led to attacks on asylum seekers, refugees and other marginalised groups. This also includes coordinated hate directed at support organisations and in particular immigration lawyers.
As a result, we have put in place a number of measures to ensure the safety of our clients, staff and volunteers. Anyone using our services or attending in-person appointments will be advised individually of these measures.
We are doing everything we can to provide a safe, secure environment in which to carry out our vital work. Things may look and feel a little different for now but rest assured our commitment to providing high quality, trauma-aware advice and representation remains the same.
We stand in love and solidarity with those individuals and communities directly affected, particularly our wonderful clients who have already been through so much.
You matter and you are welcome here.
Take care,
Team MBP
